Advance & Slow Learners
Advance & Slow Learners
Since the majority of KGTM’s students are first-generation college students, they need extra support to succeed in higher education. From the first moment of the session, we make an effort to gauge their level of knowledge based on a variety of factors, including how well they perform in the class as a whole, how well they perform in ongoing evaluation processes, etc. Gradually, the extent of their knowledge becomes apparent, enabling the differentiation between advanced and slow learners.
It is recommended that advanced students read more outside of the course. We arrange debates, group discussions, and student seminars centered around the problems and subjects listed in the syllabus in order to gauge their learning levels. Our goal is to develop their curiosity and make them better learners and contributors. Journals, books, and other study materials from private collections are given to interested students so they can continue their education after the course.
We set up remedial classes, question-answering sessions, and one-on-one engagement as needed to help the slower learners. We always urge them to work in groups to complete their group assignments. The faculty members endeavor every effort to stay connected with them.
